There are lots of different symbols that are supposed to bring good luck in a variety of different cultures. The Kiss of Luck slot is focused on bringing a lot of these symbols together in one place, and it's a novel idea from FUGA. The quality of the graphics is decent enough, but it has a somewhat generic feel to it overall. Aside from that, the gameplay is balanced pretty well between value from the pay table and value from features, which makes it a very middle-of-the-road kind of game.

Layout and Format

It's not hard to identify this as a standard video slot with five reels and three rows. There are also 30 paylines, but what players will notice as being out of place is the set of three symbols on the far-right side of the reels. We'll come back to that down below.

FUGA Gaming has made picking out your bet sizes in this game about as simple as it could possibly get. You aren't going to be fooling around with numbers of coins per payline or what the values of the coins are. Instead, you just pick how much you want to bet on each spin from a selection of options. The Mystery Bonus Feature

There are three symbols in a stack on the right-hand side of the reels that don't appear to be a part of the normal game. They are for the Mystery Bonus feature. After each spin, you have a random chance to activate one of three different bonuses based on each of these three symbols. When you activate the feature, one of the three bonuses is chosen at random.

The blonde woman offers the Multi Luck Bonus. You'll get a random multiplier from 2x to 5x on any wins you achieved that spin. The dark-haired woman activates the Lucky Fire Bonus, and the three corresponding "white" symbols (girl, star, fish) turn themselves into the three matched-up "black" symbols (girl, horseshoe, eight ball) to make it easier to hit winning combinations that are worth more money. Finally, the wild gives you the Lucky Wild Bonus that gives you wilds on some of the middle three reels. You can also end up with 3x wild multipliers with this feature.

Free Spins Bonus Feature

Separate from this is the free spins bonus round. If you get the bonus on the first reel with a 777 symbol on one of the other symbols, you'll be given a set of free spins. The 777 symbols become expanding wilds with extra free spins, and you'll start with 15 free spins total. This is another source of value in this game that works out pretty well for players.

Top-Tier Payouts

The top payouts come from the 777 symbol. It's a big, square symbol that's impossible to miss, and five of a kind pays a top jackpot of 2,000x. Remember that this jackpot can be multiplied several times over by the different opportunities to get multipliers from the bonus features. Five of either of the girl symbol will earn 1,200x, and the elephant will give you an 800x win.

Smaller Wins and Prizes

The middle of the pay table is dominated by the flaming black horseshoe and the red, white and blue star. Each of these will pay a 600x prize for five on a payline. You can also earn a 400x win for five of the shamrock, and five of the flaming black eight ball or the red fish gets you 250x. Finally, the cat wearing a golden charm is worth 120x for five on an activated payline.

Overview

Kiss of Luck is a title by FUGA Gaming that has a type of theme that you don't really see everyday. There's obviously a theme of luck in a lot of titles, but you don't see so many different symbols of luck ever brought together in the same place. The theme and the set of features are pretty good. The visuals, however, are below average, and we think that's a real shame. Otherwise, this could have been a pretty high-ranking title overall. If you don't mind the less-than-optimal graphics and focus on the gameplay experience instead, then it's likely that you get a lot of fun out of this slot.
